This 3 hour introductory workshop will give you the chance to explore the healing therapeutic potential of one of the most hidden treasures of yoga practice, in a safe and supervised setting, with Nik Scerbakov, an accomplished master with 30 years of experience as an internationally certified yoga therapist.
The dynamic movements of Zen Yoga Therapy produces heat in the abdominal area (Hara/Tanden) and is performed mainly while sitting or lying on a mat. These movements incorporate powerful breathing, relaxation techniques, meditation, as well as special acupressure points (Tsubo) that create a healing effect comparable to massage therapy and acupuncture combined.
*This workshop is a prerequisite for participating in any upcoming Zen Yoga weekly sessions beginning on June 4th from 6:00-7:30pm.
